| LoFric is the worlds first hydrophilic intermittent catheter. The LoFric catheter is our original low-friction catheter. An all-purpose type of catheter that is ideal both for busy hospitals and for patient use at home. LoFric requires clean or sterile water for activating the low-friction coating on the tubing. Its specially designed coating results in comfort by maintaining the slippery coating throughout the entire catheterization. LoFric is the only catheter proven in long-term clinical studies to reduce the risk of UTIs and other complications when compared to conventional catheters.
