Self-Emptying Advantage Urinal System Eliminates Spills and Decreases Odor
| The Advantage urinal system is an excellent alternative for patients who have difficulty with standard urinals, particularly those who suffer from movement or mobility disorders such as Parkinson's and MS. Since nothing attaches to patients, it increases their independence and dignity. This uniquely designed "always empty" hand-held urinal is attached to a 2000 ml drainage bag with anti-reflux chamber for extended urine collection. This allows caregiver to empty bag once per shift rather than once per hour, decreasing the potential for patient skin breakdown caused by extended exposure to urine. Because the system stays in bed with patients, they won't have to get up at night; therefore, risks of falls are also greatly decreased. Available in standard, male and female versions. Male system without lid has foam ring around rim for comfort.
